Always love going to Compton's. Very fair prices, incredible breakfast food - fresh, wholesome, hearty. An older restaurant, but very clean and organized. Quick and accurate service. LOVE this place!

When you want a classic diner this is the place. It was busy but the list moved quickly. The food was served FAST, they must have a very functonal kitchen. Everything was spot on and good. Prompt coffee refills and great service.

A favorite place to visit anytime before they close for the day. Staff is great and food is freshly prepared. The decor hasn't changed for ages and that's the best part. Naturally retro. Cash only but there is an ATM conveniently located IN the restaurant. :-)

Compton's is by far the best place to get breakfast. Their pancakes are my favorite pancakes in the world and the corn beef hash is my husband's favorite! It's a small quaint place, and the service is great! I highly recommend Compton's!

So good!!!!! Perfect American diner. The rest of downtown is filled with boujie brunch spots but this no frills diner is PERFECT after a long night out!!!

Good and service is always best , the other day I ordered my food first , went to ATM and realized I had reach my max withdrawal for that day.. As I went to cancel my order and let the waitress know, she then went to the back and spoke to the cook and return and said it's ok the food is free .. I was shocked ... I even said I would come back again and pay for it , she said that's ok and don't worry about it .. few days later I came in and order my meal , and when time to pay came , I reminded her who I was and that I wanted to pay for my order from the other day and she said no sir , it's ok and wouldn't accept it .. I said ok thank you .. and I made sure to tip her decently.. such a great place

The best diner. Excellent food, service, location. Comptons never disappoints. Fantastic breakfast sandwiches (bacon, egg and cheese), Eggs Benedict, Pancakes, everything!

Definitely hits the spot for Sunday brunch. Its a pretty straightforward diner experience. They didn't have a long wait time like every other breakfast spot(even the doughnut shop had a line). It was nice to be seated quickly and have our food come out fast. Definitely don't go hungry there.
